Mercedes-Benz is at the end of the season 2018 from the German touring Masters (DTM) car. Instead, the Stuttgart 2019 want to enter the formula E. The background is also likely to be the future electric car-commitment of Mercedes with the sub-brand EQ.
In 26 seasons, the DTM and the temporarily parallel the ITC, Mercedes-Benz took 183 victories, 540 podiums, ten times the driver's championship, 13 in the team standings, and six brand Championships. The Stuttgart-based are the most successful manufacturer in the race series. (ampnet/jri)
