Here comes the strongest GLC Coupé

The GLC Coupé by Mercedes is the goose of Stuttgart. The market thirsts after SUVs and even on first sight strange combinations, for example, the marriage between SUV and Coupé are torn in the automotive industry from the hands. If the vehicle is still athletic and powerful, the customers completely berserk. Logically so, that the GLC Mercedes Coupé as AMG version GLC 43 4Matic Coupé wants to offer. The non-Coupé version of the GLC 43 has been made already auto show 2016 on the New York, at the Paris Motor Show in late September 2016, Mercedes celebrates now also the world premiere of the Coupe.

367 HP from a twin-turbo V6

Under the hood of the hitherto strongest GLC Coupe hits the three-liter Twin-Turbo V6 GLC 43 and C 43 with 367 Horsepower and 520 nm. Connected to a nine-speed automatic with shorter switching times, which transmits the power on a four-wheel drive at all four corners, the AMG unit drives the Coupé from the booth at 100th pace is closing only at 250 km/h in 4.9 seconds. The rear design of the all wheel system to mention that emits 69 percent of the power to the rear wheels and should result in an at least neutral driving behavior is particularly commendable.

Sport suspension and fixed caliper brake

A tear-off edge which so directs the airflow over the vehicle, forms the rear end that a rear windscreen wiper can be dispensed with. In the wheel arches, 19-inch alloy wheels are available as standard, and optionally up to 21 inches.

Subtle hints in the Interior

Inside, the GLC 43 Coupé sports seats and the flattened steering wheel differs from its less-sporty family members. Aluminium ornamental key and Red contrast elements, as well as colored seams attract the attention. The whole is rounded off by dials in a target flag look. Otherwise, there is nothing, there is not even in the weaker motorized versions in the AMG Coupé.

Market launch in December 2016

The world premiere of the new Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4Matic Coupé celebrate the Stuttgart on 28 September in the framework of the Paris Auto Salon 2016. The market launch is planned for December 2016. (mf)
