The camper is pretty popular. In the first three quarters of this year were in our country 1.862 brand new rv's sold.
But preferably 1.862 new rv's found in the first 9 months of this year, a warm home, an increase of 14.1 percent compared to the same period last year. In fact: in any full calendar year are so many rv's sold. That it appears from the figures that TOYOTA and CIP are presenting today.
Never before were there so many campers sold as this year. To that in perspective: in the whole of 2017 were 1.803 copies sold and then continued to sell annual hanging between 1,100 and 1,500 units per year. Toyota says to expect it this year, some 2,000 pieces are sold. In total, in the Netherlands approximately 115.000 rv's to find, more than double than ten years ago. Eriba-Hymer is with 221 units sold in the first nine months of this year, the most popular shown, followed by Adria (215 pieces), Carthage (156 pieces), Knaus (138 pieces), Bürstner (136 pieces) and Capron (134 pieces).
Not only new rv's are in high demand, used copies go like hot cakes over the counter. The sale of second-hand campers took in the first three quarters by up to 40.4 percent compared to the same period last year. 7.872 used motorhomes by businesses to private individuals sold. The Eriba-Hymer is with 497 pieces of the most popular found on the second-hand industry. Bürstner state with 459 copies on place two and Adria is 439 copies sold is good for place three.
Also caravans are still sold, but the interest in them will decrease. In the first 9 months of this year were 5.986 new caravans sold, 2.2 percent less than last year. The products of the brands Hobby, Fendt and Knaus to take half of the selling space. Also the trade in used caravans took something off.
