'BMW is working on an M3 CS Touring, coming in 2025'
With the same inline six as in the M3 CS
In summary, the M3 Touring is a BMW that drives, stops and steers like an M car, but with a practical trunk. Perhaps the extended M3 will soon become a bit sportier. According to BMW Blog, BMW's board has pressed the green button for an M3 CS Touring that will be released in 2025 in limited numbers.
How limited? According to the BMW news website, there will be 2,000 worldwide. None of these would go to America, which leaves room for more Touring CSs in Europe. Furthermore, we can expect the same CS approach for the Touring as the regular M3 received. Think of a lot of carbon fiber, an aggressive diffuser and a roof spoiler. The question is: how much weight does BMW dare to take off the Touring?
What kind of engine does the BMW M3 CS Touring get?
To be clear: there are no official reports yet about the arrival of the faster Touring. However, there is a good chance that if the CS is released, it will have the same engine as the M3 CS. This means a 550 hp and 650 Nm strong six-in-line engine. In addition, BMW Blog estimates that the Touring will have four-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Before BMW announces this car, we already know for sure that there will be two new BMW models: the BMW M4 CS and an electric 5-series Touring. Plenty of beautiful things from Bavaria to look forward to. Would you like to see them in action? There is a good chance that BMW will soon test the new cars at the Nürburgring. There will probably be some videographers there to record the test work.
