The AMG GT as a roadster starts in the spring of 2017. Including C 557 HP, which occurs between the GT S with 510 HP and the GT R 585 HP is also a version called GT. This version will be soon as a Coupé, as shown by our Erlkönig images.
Model photo shoot ungetarntes caught
Our photographer caught the car ungetarnt in a shoot for the press images. Similarly like in the Roadster the C version of the Coupe differs visually from other variants. The car gets the wheel spacer and the bumpers of the more powerful GT R, but no rear spoiler and normal tail pipes.
Special version to the AMG birthday
As can be read in the model designation on the rear, it's C at the photographed GT Coupé version of the Special Edition of 50. The Special Edition will be offered in matte black, while it the normal GT C Coupé in other colors out there. The Edition is applied on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of AMG in the year 2017. Because the high-performance brand of Mercedes was upright on 1 June 1967 by Hans Werner Erhard Melcher founded. The abbreviation AMG is derived from the first letter of the family name and the where Großasbach near Stuttgart. (sl)
