BETTER PARTS'Audi used fraudulent also in South Korea
Audi has in South Korea fraud committed with chassis numbers and environment testing. That writes the German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung on Monday on the basis of internal e-mails from the maker of the luxury cars of the Volkswagenconcern. The prosecutor's office in Munich is investigating the case.
According to the Süddeutsche Zeitung were by the fraud vehicles introduced in South Korea on the basis of uitstoottests never the Asian country had for us. The manipulation of test protocols happened since for sure 2013.
The matter came to light during an investigation of the German authorities to sjoemeldiesels at Audi. As a result of that case is Rupert Stadler, until recently, ceo of Audi, already a few months.
