An open a-class sedan? Like, if the car looks

GLA, CLA Coupé and CLA shooting brake: the derivatives of a class are a sales success, and especially they lead finally even younger buyers to the brand. An extension is so appropriate, especially since these smaller cars are also reaching the CO2 limit values of the EU useful. Now, renderings show how one could imagine an open version.

Recently, Mercedes unveiled a chic "concept A sedan" at the auto Shanghai (19-29 April 2017). This study of a four-door "sedan" could become the successor of the current (also four-door) CLA Coupé with us. Or there is an own version, because the 4.57 meter-long study was Coupé at least seven centimeters shorter than the current CLA. Anyway, the car is likely based on the new a-class generation, whose performance we expect for the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2017.

Against the Audi A3 and BMW 2 convertible

In addition, also the study of an open version could be as they show our renderings. Convertibles are currently not as announced at the customers, but when they look like this car, what could be perhaps out of it, we find. The four-seater a-class convertible with two doors could well against the Audi A3 cabriolet and the BMW 2 convertible compete. These two are 4.42, or 4.43 meters long, prices start at around 31,000 euros (Audi with 116 HP petrol engine) or 32,500 euros (BMW with 136 PS petrol engine). Mercedes should be priced slightly above.
