Opel Vivaro e-Concept

The Opel Vivaro e-Concept is a pickup truck, which was first presented in 2010 at the IAA Commercial Vehicles. Building on the Vivaro with gasoline or diesel engine, the Opel Vivaro e-Concept is however moved purely by electric power on the streets. Thus, the GM subsidiary aims to provide models of Peugeot and Citroen Paroli, who also presented parallel electric vehicles. The technique for the Opel Vivaro e-Concept car comes better known to the Chevrolet Volt, in Germany as the Opel Ampera. The range of the van is on the electric motor with 111 hp, purely on the strength of the batteries, at 100 kilometers. However, as is the Opel Vivaro e-Concept, like its smaller brothers car a range extender (small internal combustion engine that generates electricity for the batteries) for supporting and expanding the reach of the Opel Vivaro e-Concept to maximum 400 km. This is more than enough to leave in addition to the delivery in the city and cross-country trips with the Opel Vivaro e-Concept accomplished without problems. The maximum load but had to be scaled back due to the batteries : after all still be in five cubic meters cargo space ready 750 kg payload.
