Peugeot 505
With the Peugeot 505 introduced the French public car manufacturers in 1979 the successor to the Peugeot 504 before. The design of the vehicle was penned by Pininfarina, the technique has been largely taken from the previous 504. The Peugeot 505 was a four-door sedan as well - built as an estate - under the name 505 Break. During its production time the Peugeot 505 was available with various petrol and diesel engines with a displacement ranged from 1.8 to 2.8 liters. The petrol engines were available both as a carburettor models as well as mechanical (later electronic) injection. After setting the Peugeot 604, the Peugeot 505 was also offered with a 2.8 liter V6 with 143 hp. The engine power ranged from 69 hp for the Peugeot 505 GL diesel (2.5 liters) and a maximum of 174 hp for the Peugeot 505 Turbo Injection (2.2 liters). The hubraumschwächste engine was the 1.8 liter four-cylinder engine of the Peugeot 505 GL with initially 82 hp.
