Station wagon and sedan to cost

It's time: from February 20, 2017, the new Opel Insignia can be ordered officially. And together with the launch of order Opel announces first prizes for sedan and station wagon. We take a look at the price list and engines.

Prices of the new insignia

The new Opel Insignia is it both as "Grand sport" sedan as well as a "sports tourer"-wagon specification type. For the 4.90-meter long limousine will at least €25.940 payable, longer combination hitting nine centimetres with 26.940 euros. For including a front collision detector with pedestrian detection, an automatic city emergency braking and an active lane on board are equipped as standard. Also there is already a seven inch Infotainment display at no extra charge.

The engines of the insignia

The insignia of the second generation models are based on a newly developed vehicle architecture. So, the sedan up to 175 kg and the station wagon could slim down up to 200 kilograms. A new 1.5 liter four-cylinder turbocharged serves as the initial engine. The engine is available in two power levels with 140 and 165 HP. The two-liter turbo with 260 PS is stronger and 400 Newton metres, which is coupled to a new eight-speed automatic transmission and gives his power to all four wheels. In the diesel engines, there is a 1.6-liter engine with 110 and 136 HP as well as a two-liter - diesel with 170 HP. In addition, Opel built a new six-speed manual transmission in the upcoming insignia. (mf)
