Six moderators and the Stig

London (Great Britain), 11 February 2016

Yet in may 2016 returns TopGear TV on the television screens back at least to the British television audience. The broadcast had been suspended last year after main presenter Jeremy Clarkson compared with the production team was palpable. So far, it was still not known who will complement the moderator team in addition to the radio presenter of Chris Evans and actor Matt LeBlanc. The BBC has now lifted the curtain before the new lineup.

Six faces and an anonymous racing driver

The former trio of Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond will be replaced in the future by a sextet. The new presenters Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc are called: Eddie Jordan, Sabine Schmitz, Chris Harris and Rory Reid. All six have one thing in common: a special reference to the automobile. The six "human" presenters of TV will be complemented by the anonymous driver 'The Stig', which part since 2002 is the show.

Motor journalists, racing driver and former Formula 1 team owner

Eddie Jordan was once the owner of a formula 1 racing team with drivers such as Michael Schumacher, Heinz-Harald Frentzen and Ralf. The German Sabine Schmitz, who is also called the "Queen of the Nürburgring", is the first female enhancement in the TopGear-TV-moderator team for 15 years. And then there are the two motor journalists Chris Harris and Rory Reid. Harris is already known for its spectacular YouTube videos, while the still quite unknown Reid prevailed at a casting against other applicants.

For everyone something to be

Chris Evans said about the new occupation of TopGear-TV: "we have something for everyone: the American Matt LeBlanc, which a car fool is his whole life, a fearless speed Devil in the form of Sabine Schmitz, an all-knowing, funny and complex character named Eddie Jordan, Chris Harris, who has plenty of nonsense in the head as a car tester, and Rory Reid, who simply blew me away at the auditions."
