Honda short goods
Sao Paulo (Brazil), 11 November 2016
There are many cars where we ask ourselves: why are not offered in us? Brazil is such a market. On the Sao (10 to 20 November 2016) show hot Renault and VW variants of its subcompact car Paulo. And also Honda has interesting short goods in baggage: the WR-V.
The WR-V is a small SUV on the basis of the Honda jazz, which is sold in Brazil and other markets as "Fit". However, the WR-V is not only a higher specified, without varnishing plastic plank jazz. Actually the Designer have been quite trouble, to give a distinct touch the car.
Honda does not yet reveal exact data for the dimensions, but a look at the jazz as the basis help here. He has a wheelbase of 2.53 meters and a length of 3.99 metres. Even if the WR-V grows a few centimetres, two things are clear: it competes with the Ford EcoSport (4.02 meters without spare wheel at the rear) popular in Brazil and sorted clearly below the HR-V, 4.29 meters long. While the European jazz has a 1.3 liter gasoline engine with 102 PS, there is a 1.5 liter engine with 115 HP, which can be refuelled with there highly sought-after for ethanol in Brazil. According to Honda to score the WR-V above all in the markets of South America, in the first half of the year 2017, he arrives in Brazil for the traders. But we are absolutely sure: this car would find his fans in this country. (rh)
